The 996 eBay bargain thread.

Jack pad looks good, I've ordered a pair thanks. I had been using a strip of tyre rubber over the jack but this looks a much more secure fit.

Cool. They won't fit a standard jack. Has to be a low one. A normal jack only just fits without these under the car.

Rather than via eBay, get your jack pads via 911uk. Check out the thread in Porsche General. They come in 2 depths, the slimline ones are easier for getting a jack under.

BUMP!

Can anyone recommend a place for the Porsche bonnet badge and also the Porsche 911 badging on the rear?

Same part and aren't handed. Tracking may need doing if they for the front though.

Couple of dumb questions:

What's the difference between the non-branded coffin arm here:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Porsche-9...876840622?clk_rvr_id=1156290343253&rmvSB=true

And the Meyle one here?:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Track-Con...104b75&pid=100011&rk=2&rkt=12&sd=222072842353

Different quality of bush maybe? And machining? Or are they exactly the same?

Second dumb question: I take it coffin arms aren't handed? You just buy two the same...?

One difference is that the cheaper one is out of stock.

Looks like the run of cheap centre caps on eBay has dried up, just trying to find a set
