Manual Shift Knob Removal for 911.2

Does anyone know how to removal the manual shift knob on 911.2? I have already prepared a Momo knob for my car so it would be nice to knob before I start prying!
 
pull the skirt up from around the lever, you pinch it in from around the console area
then look at the base of the lever under the skirt and you turn the collar 90 degrees then pull up on the knob off the lever
