Noticed today when car up in air that the lambda on drivers side pre cat had worked loose. Sounded like an exhaust blow which technically it is.

Got it tightened up but time I got home it was loose again.

Is it new lambda time as thread has been damaged?

Anyone experienced this?

Thanks nick

4 new lamdas fitted and 4 new exhaust clamps.

Wow its a different car. Ticks over a lot better, picks up better, got the old sound back and can really hear the bmc filter (no longer losing exhaust pressure through that small hole where old lamda was loose)

I wonder if they were the originals ?

The exhaust and lamda thread were gone on the loose one so had to be re tapped. One was near welded in and the other two lamdas threads went as they came out.

They do take a punishing though to be fair.

I did not go through OPC either as they wanted like 250 per sensor!! Done it much cheaper than that if anyone needs the part numbers and yours fail.
