Cardon shaft repair/refurbish in Surrey/hampshire

ive got the dreaded cardon shaft issue just appeared, anyone reccomend anybody in surrey/hampshire who can refurbish the thing,or replace the bearing ? as far as I understand its just the bearing thats shot, so dont really need to spend £800 on a complete shaft ..

If the rubber is to badly gone in the support you'll probably have to replace the whole thing. Replacement bearings can be had but you need to remove the shaft and then refit. There was a fix using 3/8" coolant hose and large steel cable tires, might be worth a go for the sake of a few quid vs £800. Apparently the fix doesn't wear like the original either.
