Bad luck , i have cup one's, i hit a lump of iron ( exposed cats eye housing) and it left a visible pressure mark on the rim of the wheel, they are very strong , i expected much worse after the bang , im sure you experienced that today , not nice , all part of your trip though , you are in a splendid location , one day ill make the same trip.
