We were at the 'ring on the Thu so we had a note from T8 that the CGTS would be tolerated;)

Ooh ooh I expect it performed admirably :)

Two threads now merged. :thumb:

Bloody hell, what a trip!
Thanks to all who made it possible. Met some great people and put faces to handles. Sadly, I don't remember too much of the evening shindigs.
Also sadly didn't manage to hit the limiter in sixth on the return journey, simply too much traffic, so 6,400 in top will have to be its max for the time being.
Mart took this pic of the convoy on Sunday morning. Memories are made of this . . . :thumb:
Flippin' brilliant . . .!!

What an awesome trip - great people, great cars and fantastic roads.

I went to see my GP earlier this morning as I had a very bad case of the shakes, after performing a few tests he has diagnosed a severe case of SVWS (Shell V-Power Withdrawal Symptoms).

GP suggested trying to wean myself off of wearing petrol soaked clothes all the time by keeping a petrol soaked rag in my pocket, am expecting a delivery from DHL this PM, details below - hoping that will keep me going for a while.

Just sitting here now, sniffing some Zippo lighter fuel hoping that DHL get here soon.

What you have captured there, is something of a watershed (no pun) moment for the air-cooled brigade.

I believe Colt had finally found a 993 engine bay with an issue.

The Bosch diagnostics machine identified a Mobil1 sticker that was mounted 0.0036 mm too low.

The owner has been made an example of as a warning to others.
