Even as an air-cooled man, I understand the basic difference between Boxster and Cayman, it was the different models and variants (986, 987, 981) I would like to know more about.

Yes Wiki has the basics but I seem to recall a more informative and detailed article which I'm unable to find and thought someone may have bookmarked it.
