Cool little video,thanks.
I really enjoyed that, I must be obsessed with Porsche it seems. I really do spend far too much of my time either driving, cleaning, looking at, dreaming of buying/scanning classifieds, watching videos, reading forums/magazines
all Porsche.
I bet that took ages to film as well for a three minute film.

no Chief, that's not me, but it just shows the pitfalls of track days, as Pete knows all to well!! _________________

Lovely Mick , i like the red on them , always temped to get some but my sports seats are so right for me , there is the weight factor as well though , if I get the bottle to start stripping weight from my car pole positions would be my choice , they look great .
Mine is stripped and in for paint right now , should be back for Christmas . _________________ Stone Grey Metallic 964 C4

Those seats look great, were they 'off the shelf' with those red centres?
I managed to snag some cheap SPG's in good condition, black leather but with yellow centres so the centres are being retrimmed in black but with red stitching. (Guards red car.. the fastest colour!)
Thinking red seat belts now!.........
It's been a bit quiet around here lately, apparently it gets more posts in the winter months when members start doing their winter projects / mods?
Cheers

Hi Keith, you'll be happy when you get your re-spray done. Just hope it sticks to your time frame ( not like Petes!!) you need to get some progress pics up to keep us going during the dark nights.
Mike, the seats are standard from Recaro, it was about a 6 week lead time for them to be made, and about 6 weeks for me to get them fitted lol. They have been something on my want list since buying the car, I'm now thinking of a nice half cage painted guards red to set the interior off nicely.
However, i fear, an engine rebuild is now on the cards _________________

Half cage, what half cage are you thinking? I believe some just use the rear seat belt anchor points right? Painted red would look the part.
Engine rebuild sounds expensive, and I guess it may be a case of 'whilst you're in there'....! _________________ 964 C2 Coupe Manual

Bolt in cage will be the way I go. There are two I've seen, can't remember the make at the moment, or might make one myself. _________________

evening folks.
been a bit quiet of late so i thought i'd post an update.
the 964 is currently undergoing engine surgery. complete rebuild, nothing fancy, just back to original spec the way it left the factory 193K and 27years ago.
very happy to report the internals were in very good condition, just the normal expected wear and tear.
So the plan is for everything to be rebuilt and back on the road for our PCGB open day over here on the 10th June.
and with all this engine work being done, I've decided to upgrade the anti theft device....

As much as I like looking at cars and engines, Dumbledore does it for me!
