buffing sunroof and rest of roof

Does anyone know can the roof of the 911/991 with the sunroof be buffered ? as in to take some marks out ? both on the sun roof and the 2 pieces either side (thats after front window screen and after the sun roof before the back window) ive been told these pieces are plastic so cant take much buffing and not sure bout the sun roof itself , thanks in advance :)
 
Only just seen this post.......don`t visit the detailing forum much :oops:

The sections in front and behind the glass roof panel I believe are aluminium and painted, so yes they could be buffed.
I repaired a hail damaged 991 recently and the only exterior body parts that are steel seem to be the roof rails and rear quarters.
