964 Project - 'The Red Baron!'

They look absolutely mint chief! I love em :worship:

Wow Chief! You've just even surpassed yourself :worship:

Santa must have got to your house first!

Happy Christmas,
Paul

Looking. Eey nice indeed.

👍

Thank you all guys. I really appreciate the flattering comments and the Merry Christmases :thumb:

Bar a couple of bits left to do, The Red Baron is finished.
I guess there will be some other projects in the future, money permitting but the basic ground work is done. I've enjoyed this journey and the friends I have made along the way. The things I have learned will be put to good use on Project Blue Book next year.

So it feels great to finish The Baron for Christmas :p
Happy Christmas to all and wishing everyone a peaceful and healthy 2016.

Chief, saw you trundling through Wooten Wawen around mid day today. The car looked lovely with the ride height and general stance spot on. Not normally a fan of gold wheels but the clean lines add to a very impressive package. I hope to see it up close some time. :worship:

There is no doubt that as good as these threads are, there is nothing better than seeing the car out on the road (and track), being used.

If you are still down here on Tuesday why not get yourself along to the Midlands Meet.

Coast, thank you :thumb:
John, thanks for noticing The Red Baron! Although not hard to miss
I received three texts yesterday saying they saw me and Mrs Chief trundling along. All of you seemed to mention the slow speed :?: I guess most are used to me going far quicker.......!
As our PeterS says we are all meeting up on the 29th and the Baron will be there. Would be great to see you if you haven't returned home.... :thumb:

Thanks everyone for the positive comments, they really do me a lot to me.

I didn't see you Chief, but I'd like to. RB looks great :thumb:

Bit of a way to come for you Paul, but PeterS has a very nice guest house where there are a number of the gang staying :thumb:

I have never liked those Azev wheels, but the whole set up on yours looks bloody epic and like the rest of the troops following the journey has been a blast all we need now are some other boys to get working now that Pete,Paul Rob etc are now just about finished.

looking forward to the 914 I passed on one with 30000miles for a couple of grand last year :nooo:

all the best for the new year

Just down and back for us yesterday. Christmas meals on wheels for relative in Gt Alne. Good day and great to leave the rain behind, around Doncaster.

As for speed, in was in the 30 zone and I think Warwickshire must have the most speed aware drivers in the country, as well as the most 50 mph limits on A roads. Provides more time to look at the car though.
