OK, so I know, and agree, that they are not as good as the CTEK ones, but if you are just looking for a trickle charger for a battery that is OK (over the winter) they are £12 and do the job just fine.

How do I know they are not as good as the CTEK ones?

The battery in my Toyota died at the start of the year. I attached the LIDL one....nothing. I attached the CTEK one and by the next day it was working just fine.

I've used a LIDL one on my MX5 over last winter and it did the job perfectly.

(Oh and trolly jacks are going cheap there too...£20, and torque wrenches too).
