Thanks dude! BTW I like the wheels

I also like the wheels buddy looks very euro and I am a big fan of this look, as you can see by my E34 m5.

There will be 2 groups of people with views on this car. Those who like things as close to standard / oem as possible, and those who appreciate a modified car.

I'm in the latter group. I like it.

In isolation some of these mods might not appeal but as a complete package I think it looks cool. I like the colour, the rear aero deck lid and the deep alloys at the back which accentuate the wide body look :thumb:

Cmon then, it looks like its had a few bit done.... spill!

not to everyones taste but, i love it :)[/quote]
And THAT ladies and gentlemen is the key.... As long as you love it, WGAFF what anyone else thinks.... Enjoy

its funny but i like both modified and oem.my mk1 stag ,mr2,and bm are all oem as they come yet my racing puma ,escort cossie and tommi mac are all modified.although the tt is quite a nice shape to start with it is very german in its design .beautiful cars but not something that makes you look twice as it rides by.in my eyes all 911s should look like a gt3 rs .As you can gather the gt3 rs is my favourite of all cars out there today .If im going to upset the oem brigade then so be it ,i want what the rs is a brash in your face get out of my way sort of car.Yes the car as well as outward mods has a full dms tuning kit from early 2012 .Full exhaust ,intercoolers, turbos, clutch gt3 rs front brakes etc so not oem in alot of places.the mods i am doing if i did sell would come off within hours so no biggie to return to its oem look

I get the whole tuning thing as used to be into it with a few skylines GTRs I had and like the 996 turbo they are relatively easy and cheap to tune to get big gains up to a point....then it just gets silly expensive for no real gain on the road as the power curve moves way up the RPM range and you end up doing captain kirk speeds everywhere you go.

fine in Germany but pointless over here with a camera on most corners.

no point for track usage as they are heavy cars and you need to ditch weight for track use and 4wd no a great start. even my GT3 is too heavy for major track use really.

I just love the 996 turbo shape out of the box and Porsche spent 100s of millions getting the cars to where they should be. they just look so right on the twist wheels. no those aftermarket ones.

modding a GT3 RS is a little pointless in my eyes even if cosmetic such as wheels. but then everyone is different and each to their own.

i agree that you probably need the oem twists to help sell the car but,its a wheel that looks lifeless and bland.the eta beta wheels i have do have twist centres with a bit of a twist!! so in looks not that over the top imo.fact being i will never change your mind or visa versa. Can you imagine all cars looking the same!.how boring would that be.rows and rows of midnight blue 996 tts with shiney 3 piece wheels lol
