I know the exhaust and all the gubbings are at back of the 911 but wondering if anyone has done anything about reducing heat at the exhaust tips?

I have sports mufflers so no oem heat shields on the mufflers so wondering if that is not helping.

Was thinking of getting the mufflers and some of the piping wrapped in that exhaust wrap you see on race/rally cars.

Might help out a bit?
Or waste of time?

The passenger side exhaust tip seems closer to the bumper than right so going to get that lowered a bit.

Any tips welcome on the above heat thing. Its a mk2 gt3 996.
