Just got off the phone to Mannings UK after reading recommendation on their Insurance here.

Fully Comp
3k miles a year
SDP&C
Agreed Value: £30,000

Also includes unlimited UK track day Insurance - only caveat is 10% excess on track days.

CAT D driver training on 9th May - then best get myself booked in to a session at Oulton park!

2 Questions:

How does price compare to mainstream companies?
How do they know if you do a bit more than the said 3k a year?

Im on a multicar with Admiral on my Cayman s, similar vehicle value but was planning on track days, so I may give them a try, I somehow doubt Admiral will insure track days?

I don't know whether this price is particularly competitive.
Everyone has different circumstances....

What i will say is that my broker is a friend of almost 20 years and he said it was good :p

I'm 44, full protected NCB. Car has no mileage restrictions, no need to activate the tracker, and I share a postcode with a salubrious part of East London

£800 on £30k value C4s.

What policy does have aside from usual benefits, which I understand is very unusual..

Fully Comp for my wife and I on ANY CAR !!??

Handy when my neighbour lets me take his Ferraris out

Are there any organisations that provide a valuation service? In relation to agreed value, a new insurer has requested this info on a letterhead from a Porsche specialist/etc

PCGB offer a valuation service - but turnaround takes quite a while. Your local indy may be willing to give a valuation acceptable to an insurer. My indy provided a valuation which Locktons were happy to accept. Check with your insurer/indy.

Great. Thanks
