PCM error message

My 03 cayenne PCM has just started showing a 'system failure not available' message. It is only on the 'audio' screen and if I press the confirm button the message goes away. The unit works as normal during message apart from the visibility of that particular screen.
It all started yesterday after I was fannying around with the sat nav function.
Any ideas?
 
A connection issue with the fibre optic loops, very hard to identify although most originate in the AMP.

But worth checking the charge level of the battery as this has an impact on the systems.
