Porsche Diagnostic Cable - Reset airbag light & Fault

Folks,
I am looking at a cheap method of resetting my airbag light on Porsche and reading fault codes/reset service lights etc. The only options as I see are
1. Go to Porsche dealer or Garage (which is expensive)
2. Durametic Diagnostic kit which is still expensive but the only aftermarket kit I can see.
Does anyone know of any others or have any recommendations? My other car is a BMW and I have a cheap INPA cable kit which does the job perfectly (I don't mind cheap clones if anything is available)
