What fuel are you guys using?

Hey guys

I've just purchase a 1988 carrera sport.. Yep I love it... What fuel is best for these engines 95 Ron (normal unleaded) or 98 Ron (super unleaded)

Advice in how they run and what you feel is best would be appreciated.

Power wise, the Motronic Injection Unit adjusts all setting whichever you use, takes about ten minutes, all done by itself, so really it shouldn't matter.
I try to put Shell VPower in my 3.2, or Tesco 99.
Also a drop of injection cleaner once in a while.

Love the flat six roar on cam.

I agree, the Shell v power every time. It seems to run better - maybe imagination though. :thumbs:

i use shell v power unless i'm not near a shell petrol station!!

Shell V power for me too unless like other drivers tescos super at a push my manual for 3litre recomends 100 Octaine
