Finally found a boxster for the missus which she's very interested in

Just spoken to the seller, he has informed me that the car had a complete engine and gearbox replacement at 18,000 miles by opc with paperwork to confirm. (Reason not stated)

18 months ago the gearbox developed a second gear issue and as the replacement work was out of warranty through opc the seller had the gearbox rebuilt by 'elite porsche' .A new clutch and rms was also fitted at the same time, the car has done approximately 10K since.

Does this set alarm bells ringing to any technical minds or should i see all this work as a bonus?!

I'm hoping its gonna turn out to be a gem as it ticks all the boxes option wise

My main concern is that we'll probably only keep the car for a year and am wondering whether these issues may hamper resale?

All advice will be gratefully received as possibly going to view Saturday.
