I have for sale the Jake Raby engine rebuild DVD and instruction manual for M96/M97 family of engines fitted to Boxster, Cayman and 996/997 series. Anyone researching building their own engine will know these are the guides to use.
I sent my 997 C2S blocks and heads off to Hartech to get 6 Nikasil liners, heads overhauled, new IMS bearing, refurbed pistons, small end bearings and parts soda blasted.
I used these step by step instructions to put the engine back together with all the new components required. The process allowed me to spend a lot of time testing/cleaning and replacing the many other components on the engine. Now it looks like new.
Hartech provided an excellent service and I'd recommend this route for anyone willing to spend some time doing it. These instructions are literally step by step.
I also have a full set of tools required to do an M97 engine that may be for sale or hire.
I'm looking for £350 posted for the DVD and manual
