Hi there, I've been thoroughly enjoying my "new" to me '09 gen2 997, one thing which has me puzzled though relates to playing music through my iPhone 6. I have the correct leads (Porsche dual cable and apple 30 pin to lightening adaptor) and the phone is playing Spotify/dab etc. Through the BOSE but the volume is fixed and I can't work out how to adjust it. I have tried adjusting to full on the phone before I connect but still playback is at the same constant level. That level is a little low hence the need to increase it.... The volume knob on the PCM/BOSE does nothing doesn't increase or decrease the volume. I've tried searching the forum but can't find a similar thread, but apologies if this is a FAQ. Appreciate any ideas, assistance, advice.....
Many thanks.

Phil ,I guess your running the iphone link and using the aux button have you looked in the menu under the aux setting as from what I remember each button eg aux, radio, cd etc. have there own volume control presets within the menu. Sorry I cant be a bit clearer on that, but its been a while since I put a double din unit in mine . :thumb:  Phil

Thanks Phil, I have looked in the sound menu under iPod, and tried adjusting the ringer volume in fact have tried changing all the options and none impact the iPhone playback volume. It's odd, everything else works fine. Could be a damaged pin in the plug I suppose. I bought via OPC for the warranty so can't change out the stock head unit, which is a shame!

Talk to your OPC as the head unit should have very little that relates to it and might cause an issue so they may well say yes to a change and only not cover things like the speakers amp incase of issue. some OPCs are much more flexible than others re aftermarket things. But in the meantime I would try an audio specialist not halfords or the like but a good local indy. and see what they can find. I find it strange and could sort of understand if you were bluetoothing the stream but its hardwired . I am inclined to think its something very easy but just getting missed . sorry I cant throw more light on it . :thumb:
