Selling my 2003 R53 Mini Cooper S (the best supercharged version)

I've owned the car for 5+ years but it's been in the family for 7+ as was my brothers car before hand so I know it inside out and it's been a great car, very reliable and also very fun.

Details and spec:
- Black with colour coded bumpers/kit.
- Black leather int.
- Black wheels (with polished rims)
- 2003
- 82k
- FSH with lots of invoices
- Upgraded disks and pads
- Strut brace fitted

Good bits:
- As mentioned in the family for 7+ yrs.
- Full service March 23 with MOT until March 24.
- Good (fairly new) tyres all round.
- Low mileage for age.
- Great fun to drive, picks up really well and is mechanically sound (to my knowledge).

Bad bits:
Being 20 yrs old there are a few age related bits that need sorting on the car but fairly minor in my view (wanted to be transparent):
- Passenger side remote locking mechanism doesn't work (passenger door needs opening manually from inside).
- Passenger side electric window doesn't work.
- Some lacquer peel on roof.

There might be some info. / bits I've missed but this is the bulk of it I can think of.

Located in East Grinstead.
Asking £3200 but open to sensible offers.
Good examples are getting rarer and a little spent on the bits needed would see a very solid example.

Any questions please shout.

Adam

If that's rust free and there's more oil inside the engine than outside the engine, it's a nice buy. A few more pictures would help.

It'll probably sell quickly on the R53 Owners Club fb page/marketplace. Not so many basically standard cars left.

Thanks Max
Rust free as far as aware and just gone through MoT no issues.

Will consider the r53 fb page :thumb:

The rust will be obvious: on top of the boot handle, underneath the rear lights and the lower front corners of the doors. Don't ask me how I know... mine is mechanically fine, but needs a full respray by now.

Thanks again Max
No rust where you mention :thumb:
