Hi all,

Is there any major implication on buying a Euro 5 991.1 in the current climate with emission issues etc even this is ULEZ compliant?

Thanks in advance

Euro 4 for Petrol and Euro 6 for Diesel

one would assume at some point in the future the goal posts but the main Euro Emission changes were targeting diesel cars and their NOx levels to bring them down to petrol levels, which is main the issue with diesel tech.

since Euro 5 levels are similar to Euro 6 levels for petrol cars, one would assume it is safe because there is no practical and political benefit to moving petrol cars to Euro 6 at this time or for along time, since the next material cleaner standard is the current Euro 6d

noting that Euro 7 is still not due to 2024 and has the roughly same Euro 6d petrol standard

Thank you 911UK
