996...Ugly !...are you blind?

Looking down on my 996.1c2 for me shows how the whole
Design is works including the lights.
If the lights weren't shared I think the original lights would be
Considered a design classic

When I look down on my 996 I think how is that a ugly 911 ???

When I look down on your 996 I get a stiff neck.

I agree though. Great design.

Just to be honest though. If they made a 964 with 996 GT3 handing, revs and power there'd be no contest. (I can't afford a Singer).

I'd love both in the garage but one expensive car I hardly use is pretty daft, let alone two.
As it is though I couldn't swap my GT3 for a 964, much as my eye always wanders.

What I'm saying is 996 vs impact bumper, 964 or 993 solely on looks and charm, well it's not even a conversation worth having is it. But for the other things the 996 brings to the table, especially at the price point, it's pretty damn good. 8)
