Hi all, can anyone tell me me how the Tiptronic gearbox indicates to the dash instrument panel which gear it's in?

I'd like to feed this information into an aftermarket display.

the wiring diagram shows 3 wires coming from the tiptronic ECU to the instrument cluster, W0, W1 and W3. Does anyone know which of these carries the gear indicator and how/what voltage = which gear?

Thanks! :thumb:

(Crappy) Pic is from a Boxster, but it demonstrates that the dash knows which gear it's in:
