I searched a few sites and found others have had the problem before and that it might be caused by a CPS spacing issue. When I changed the sensor (for a later type), I noticed that there was no spacer shim present on my car - it’s a very early C4 that was used by Porsche UK in the model launch. Does anyone know the spacer thickness or whether it can be purchased? I couldn’t find it listed anywhere.
