||For sale is my fantastic 996 Turbo. Ive had it for four years and six months, in which time I've spent over £20,000 on replacement and improvement parts.
Whilst this car is in very very good condition, it is not a Porsche showroom example, so if you want a garage queen please stop reading.
The bodywork is very very good, but has the odd small stone chip on the front end, a couple of tiny parking marks on the door and a small mark on the rear bumper, all of which I couldn't pick up with the camera, so very minute marks.
It is a very solid, very reliable, tastefully modified car, that performs outstandingly and still makes me gasp at its capabilities.
It has been on European trips over the Alps into Italy and has been to the Nurburgring in Germany.
In the last 25,000 miles of my ownership it has had a oil change every 3-5000 miles. The Engine has been Boro-scoped, compression tested, leak down tested and the Turbo's have been measured for free play.... It has been remarked at how good the engine is and has been given a free bill of heath at every inspection.
No oil is burned. If you know the Mezger engine then you will know how robust and over engineered it is. If you don't, research it!
Looked after these engines have been known to do 400,000 miles +!
Ive not been afraid of "using" the car and the engine runs better and is quieter than when I bought it. That said I am very mechanically sympathetic, I've never driven it hard from cold, never over revved the engine ( the re map is tuned for torque) and always driven cool down the last few miles from switch off.
This car would suit a like minded person who wants to ENJOY the car rather than looking at it.
I will now list the replacement parts and modifications-
997 Turbo 350mm Discs,6 pot callipers,Pagid RS29 pads.
Bilstien PSS10 Coilover suspension, H&R Anti roll bars. Tarret front top mounts.

Numerous oil changes have been carried out by myself in between official servicing from early 2014.
I contacted the previous owner were there is a gap in the history and he confirmed carrying out is own services.
It will need a annual check/service if you want to keep the book stamped.
The front discs are worn, I may replace these for the sale.
When you inspect the car, you will hear a occasional tap from the front of the cars suspension on rough roads (all my local roads are shocking), this is the Tarrett top mounts, as they have no bushes/rubbers.
This can be remedied by fitting original type back on.
You are welcome to view the car anytime. Inspections are welcome, although "nitpicking" by so called professional inspectors will not alter the sale price as I think I have priced the car VERY reasonably.
Ive tried to be as honest as I can, so that you are not wasting your time when you come to look at the car.
Any Questions welcome, as Im sure Ive forgotten stuff, but please do not make any financial offers until you have bothered to come a see/test the car.
I need to see a valid insurance document for you to drive the car any distance, but I'm more than willing to take you on a lengthy drive if you are interested.
I am selling because I've currently not got a pension and want to buy a house to let and this will go some way to a deposit.
The car is based Between Cowbeech and Rushlake green, near Hailsham, East sussex.
Train stations are Stonegate and Polegate and Im happy to collect/drop at both.
